What are the elements of composition when it comes to art and photography? Color, balance, texture, and framing are just a few. In this episode, Andrew Busch, an artist and math teacher walks us through the process of improving the composition to “fix” two of his older paintings that he was not happy with. In the slideshow below, you’ll be able to see how he transformed both of these paintings by applying some very basic rules of composition. Additionally, we discuss how all of us can apply some of these same basic rules to dramatically improve the quality of our own photography.
